I love that you included a lion in the backround but his picture does look like it was taken at the zoo, maybe a closer zoom or crop. (and more contrast and saturation)

I can not believe 283 views and not one comment, I think this is a great shot of a tender moment between a mother and child, really well done i like the softness of the shot and the B&W is well done and fits the pose.

This is a great composition. I love the color and the contrast in the image. I think that they eyes could use some catch light or something so that they aren't just black. It kind of makes it feel like she is dead, maybe stuffed, making the eyes show up will make her look more alive. I think that my favorite for this challenge will be an animal doing something, animal life, rather than just a picture of an animal, so you are getting a little lower rating for that reason, not because I don't like the picture.

it was actually only 7lbs, which was good because I was using 8lb test :)
