Great in flight capture. Nice markings, especially the upper rump and pale secondaries... unique to dowitchers. Would be rare in Colorado. We have Wilson's Snipe which are somewhat similar.

They're just passing through on their way up to their breeding locations. I've seen them here only during the spring migration. This one was a way off the coast.
