The fog in this photo really helps set the mood. it gives the feeling that something has been lost, which fits in with the old ruins.
Composition wise, it seems a little unfinished, like there is more to the scene. You are cropped close to the Chimney, and the right the wall is still going. I sense that you couldn't move further back though. Hey, its a side challenge, how about a panoramic of one of these buildings. Try and multishot and see how it goes, giving us the full building or area? Just a thought but I think it could work well (and won't get hurt bu the anti-pano people).

The thumbnail really picks up on the texture of the yellow-green and draws attention to the impressionist aspects of this compositions. Nice to capture the people in such symmetrical poses within the boat. Repeating actual and implied horizontal lines give a nice rhythm.
