It seems like the "pop" of this image isn't dependant on the negative space but rather on the inverted eye within the drop. Perhaps that's just the first thing I focus on but each time I've been through the images it just seems to be the focal point. I like the technique, the lighting you chose and the background image. It just seems to be a study in refractive composition (pun intended) rather than negative space. - 5

Wonderful. As this loaded from top to bottom, I was thinking "What kind of pen is he writing with" when the full photo loaded, I was pleased to see. You put some thought into this shot, and I think that it shows. Focus and clarity are just awesome. Really nice job. The angle and framing/cropping are perfect in my opinion. Nice tones, and the lamp adds to the shot as well. One of my favorites so far. ~Heather~
