I'll offer you the "this should have scored higher" platitude, but I've learned it really doesn't do much. You can't trade in comments post challenge for a better score, nor will they be accepted at your local Starbucks in lieu of cash or a charge card. But I will say this was in my personal top ten. And you can't use THAT at your local Starbucks either.

great photo - nice tonal range. interesting subject matter. the expression on the man's face really adds something. I think there's too much empty space up the top - a tighter crop leaving just some of that interesting tree at the top would have been better.

the white plants are a bit too blown out. this shot looks interesting but at the same time, looks like just a bunch of weeds. there is no real point of interest to attract my attention.
