Standoffby posthumousComment by Tammer: For my concept of this challenge, your photo doesn't fit as well as others. I do like seeeing this in b&w and I like the angle you took it from. |

Adagio in B Minorby posthumousComment by krnodil: Beautiful processing and I like how you captured the light of the day in the sheen on the boys' backs, and how the dark and light patterning of the background tree line makes it's own rhythmic contribution to the composition. I admit I did not see the rhythm in this until I was able to read your explanation - but I appreciate the thought and subtlety here. I find myself wanting to see less of the foreground grass...but I can't tell if removing it will help or harm the image overall. |

Confrontationby posthumousComment by bmartuch: I love this shot Don. This reminds me of what I did with a shot called "Ghost Station". I got clobbered also. People just don't like that kind of processing. I love ominous looking skies. |

Standoffby posthumousComment by luv2photo: DNMC for me. I am sure you were expecing that though. I don't see the child's toy here. Is that what he is holding in the shadows? |

Self Portraitby posthumousComment by levyj413: My primary reaction is: so THAT'S what you look like. You look troubled, my friend. Whether it's because smoke is in your eyes, you're feeling what your comments say, or the camera went off before you were ready, I couldn't say. |
