I am a sucker for nature stuck in ice. This is nicely captured. I like the composition a lot, and the variety of textures resulting fromt he ice changes and the leaves. Good for you.

It's a bit of an adult angle on the world. Snap down. The view really is the child's view and hard as it might have been the view from the lens might have been a bit more of that child's view up the road to the unknown future of no health insurance, poor education, Democrats that act like Republicans and Republicans that act like Democrats. In other words, a knee bend for the shot might have brought the personal side of the child more into the composition. Cynical as usual. Happy New Year.
