 a warm spell frees fallen leaves. squeezing the high and low end of levels brought out some great contrast and color. selective color to bring out the veins on the leaves and bump contrast even more. and finally brightness/contrast to slightly bump brightness and contrast even m o r e. resize and USM.

I think the 400 ISO was worth it. The lighting was semi-cloudy and with 400 ISO I was able to have some decent depth of field with a 6.3 aperture and a camera speed that was fast enough to avoid camera shake.

Another engaging shot. I thought it was better than the other leaf on ice/snow shot. This one had more interest throughout the frame.

I gave it a 6 because I liked the moment you captured and the beautiful contrast in colors. I think I did not give it a higher score because my taste leans towards wanting to see subjects in focus. The leaves were the first ting to capture my attention and I would have liked to have seen them be a little sharper or clearer to make them stand apart from the ice.

I like the difference in color in your photo. The leaves really stand out against the clear ice. Maybe you could have zoomed out a little more to show the size difference between the leaves and the ice.

Love the textures in this shot! Almost seems to show a "flash freeze' type of feel to it!

I am a sucker for nature stuck in ice. This is nicely captured. I like the composition a lot, and the variety of textures resulting fromt he ice changes and the leaves. Good for you.
