strollingby skewsmeComment by jaysonmc: This is terrific. The scale is wonderful. The inverted view is what sells the shot. I'm surprised people did not equate this to the challenge. You did have some good voters out there though so at least some acknowledged the shot. |

to the boatby skewsmeComment by jonfrommk: Wonderful picture of serenity. It meets the challenge very well and the soft range of blues and purples (especially in the reflection) are simply magnificent. 8 |

incomingby skewsmeComment by JuliBoc: I was very interested by your comments about the pp trying to mimic the 3-D children's books. I work on a laptop, and when I tilt the screen back (typically darkens the screen) the people and ball actually do seem to come right out of the picture. They brighten while the background darkens.
I haven't read the rest of the comments here, but I suspect your score was hurt by DNMC votes, since it is very atypical for a portrait. I think the image is very lively and a good shot. |

I'm cuddly, dang it.by skewsmeComment by krnodil: Geez - no comments during voting? It really does look as if you put that guy in a light tent - trying to figure out how you got the shot while he was on the outside of the house. Anyway, all that white is effective - so many shots of buggies have a lot of distracting foliage around - nice detail in that wing. |
