This is a really cool picture, because it shows the friendship coming through, even if they're smiling for the camera. As far as pimping the eyes, keep at it, it gets easier.

what a great capture - two close friends enjoying each other - i am not sure about the 'pimping of the eyes' here - the two seem so fresh and I think the more realistic eyes would really work out great here

I love the candid pose - it's just adorable! I agree with the comment about ivory being a little too over-exposed - but what ya gonna do with natural lighting? :) I know this is a B&W challenge but I took a peek at the one in color and I have to say that it looks pretty darn good.

Thanks so much! This is very helpful so far,...and...very encouraging! It truly is my desire to improve as a photographer and as a individual.

DPC comments have already improved me as a photographer...IMHO! Often "in-your-face" is what I need to improve, but tough & tender, like this thread, as a welcome oasis right now! Thanks again! Stan :)
