The first time thru, I wondered how the rose seemed oof but now I think it's because of the mirror. Thecnically, this is a dark picture and that is partially what low key is about. However, low key also is used to give a picture a "mood". I think that is what is missing in this picture. Composition wise, the yellow flower might have been brought out of the shadow or left out altogether.

This could be greatly improved by getting some reflection of the light onto the yellow flower as well... the purple is nice, but it doesn't really work for me with the yellow as the yellow is now lit... if you bounced a little warm light into the shadows I think it would be nicer...
