I like this shot - especially the processing on the foreground headstone/cross & angel. Seems like the whole thing might be tilted a bit down to the left and I would probably try to lighten the fore/darken the back to bring the viewer's attention more fully on the main subject. Good shot though - I like cemeteries (we're ghouls for hanging around them, eh?). LOL

The orange, or yellow, whatever it is, draws my eye directly to her arms. A more subtle garment may have helped to keep the focus on her face. Also, the white of her eye looks blue, and her skin is a little pink--perhaps from the saturation.

a nice shot, but the focus is poor, which brings it down. that's realy my only complaint - nice colours, nice composition, nice exposure. is this perhaps due to how you're preparing your images for challenge? look at the tutorial for that if it is - i did and it made a huge difference!

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

A cute child, however, it is a bit out of focus and basically a snapshot. Children are far too easy to capture candids of. They virtually have their emotions and actions uncontained, verses that of adults. For me, I prefer to see something out of the ordinary, that tells more of a story, or has great interest in subject matter or situation for a candid. If I were to list this shot in a category, it would be under family and not candid. This a 2 for me.

The eyes look a bit strange here, they are very blue. Was this from dodging? Otherwise a nice shot and great colors of her shirt.
