LIGHT 1.jpgby mia67Comment by posthumous: it's a pleasing and competent composition, the dof adds interest. but nothing takes this beyond being a picture of candles. scorewise that creates a ceiling of 6 for me. I need to feel stories in the shadows! I must hear secrets in the light! |

This is a keeper. |

LIGHT 1.jpgby mia67Comment by kashi: Lovely DOF and colours.
This picture makes me think that those are scented candles for some reason (reason unknown) - something soothing, like lavender or vanilla. |

LIGHT 1.jpgby mia67Comment by Greetmir: I really like this but it SO makes me wanna put my thumb over the super bright flame TDC. I think this would be a much better image without it or if it was brought down to the brightness and colour of the other background lights. |

Day 19by mia67Comment by posthumous: A genuine smile and the tight crop creates a pleasing spiral of large, textured shapes. It's a successful portrait. This is probably highly subjective, but my only qualm is the hue. It seems just a little too greenish(?) yellowish(?) to me. |
