Such a delicate and elegant capture of the moment. Everything here works together excellently. From the technicals to the PP.

Simply a glorious capture. This feels so real - I don't sense that the chld is posing at all. The toning is absolutely gorgeous as well.

You really know how to get those nice soft skin textures. The whole photo is so smooth, beautifully focused and of course the subject is a classic!

Mia, you have captured one of my favorite styles of photography seeing a young child discovering the simple things of this world. Very nicely done. Hope this is on your wall, because this is a masterpiece!

Great capture, I'm sure the little one will treasure it (many years from now)!

Only thing that would have made this image better is if I had taken it. ;)
Outstanding moment captured and belongs on a greeting card in my opinion.

That Sigma macro is one hell of a lens.. this shot is awsome. I am thinking about MAYBE getting the Nikon 105 macro VR, its a lot of pennies and I would need to sell some old glass to buy it.. I do love the feel of the 105 macro f2.8 it makes some awsome photos just like this.. ursula is in love with her Sigma 105 and makes great shots with it.

What a sweet and enduring photo of a childhood! A perfect candid 'captured moment' in time as the young child bends down to look or pick the flowers. Love the details and the tones in this one. Very sharp and spot on. I like the slight sepia tone for it adds a bit of a nostalgic feel to it - like it is a capture of days gone by. Composition is wonderful I don't have anything to suggestions on how to improve this one - it is picture perfect as it is.

No fair using a cute kid :)

I think a little more work on some selective sharpening could really work wonders on this shot (as well as increasing the contrast in the grasses).

Other than that, you've got a very playful image with a pretty strong composition. You've captured a great moment.

Very nice composition with plenty of interesting things to let the eye feast on. Perhaps just a tad overexposed? Could be what you were going for, more towards high key. Not my particular cup of tea, but that's not to say it doesn't work here. The photo defintely captures a feeling of childhood curiosity.

This is one of those photos that will become a family favorite. B&W looks really good here. Really good processing.
