A genuine smile and the tight crop creates a pleasing spiral of large, textured shapes. It's a successful portrait. This is probably highly subjective, but my only qualm is the hue. It seems just a little too greenish(?) yellowish(?) to me. |

It's a timely moment of charm. Lovely hair texture. The shoulder in my first glance seemed like another person was in the way. |

A pretty good portrait of someone I don't know. As such, there must be something unusual to make me interested, and even more to make me remember it, and I am not finding anything unusual in it. The smile looks very natural, the face is handsome, but that can be said about a big majority of family album shots.
Otherwise, the technicals are good except for the blown highlight (would look better on film). Toning is pleasant, sharpness is not overdone. |

i already left a comment on this picture before but now i'll leave my reaction ;)
my first reaction to this picture is a big smile. she has such a warm smile shining through her eyes. i like her spontaneous looking pose, feel like you just captured her in her very natural environment and she's really not posing to you but just turning to look and smile. i like the feeling this portrait leaves in me. |

Great shot, you captured a real smile not one of those fake ones! Great expression, love the sepia tones & borders! |

she's quite pretty, and what a head full of hair! LOL even with the B&W conversion, there is a certain warmth here - a touch of sepia? Very nicely done! |

Mia!! What a beautiful photo! There is such a light and sparkle in her eyes. I am in love with the way you composed it too -- tight and very close-up. You are a very talented portrait photographer young lady!!!!!

Wow, what a lovely composition. The portrait is helped by the pretty girl and her wonderful warm smile, but its focus and sharpness, duotone, and great tonal range make this really beautiful. |
