cactus-13-for-web.jpgby BluelemurComment by macrothing: Like the composition and colors. Maybe a slight crop variation (depending what you had to work with), mainly to eliminate that 'fruit' in the background top right which detracts slightly (but minor) and a little sharper on the 'needles' &/or fruit, would have helped this in my opinion. Contrast seems a little 'blown', not sure. |

sleepy-edited-with-borders.jpgby BluelemurComment by adine: another lovely composition - I really like how the subjects fill the frame, some nice, subtle leading lines with the arm and the seam of the shirt. Those sweet sleepy eyes are right on the thirds line. Nice balance of dark and light. |

ice-branch-2-for-web.jpgby BluelemurComment by macrothing: Like the composition and very nice vivid color here. Depending, but if you didn't use a tripod for this, perhaps trying to get a shot like this using a tripod might have helped gain the sharpness required (apologies if you did use a tripod). |

bird-3-ret-for-web.jpgby BluelemurComment by macrothing: Good potential in my opinion, even as a silhouette (the bird, obviously). The vertical framing 'works' here, but perhaps a square one or more horizontal (either way just more space 'somewhere'), a nudge rotation up on the left to get 'subjects' straight and better focus (looks blurred), would all have helped this in my opinion. |

laughing-couple-for-web.jpgby BluelemurComment by adine: A terrific capture of the moment - really tells about the attraction between the two people. It is fairly formal looking in black and white - but the swing of her hair and the real expressions on their faces make it l
eap out of the
frame for me. |

tai-chi-with-borders-bor-we.jpgby BluelemurComment by adine: What a terrific composition. The sweep of the path, the placement of the subject. (maybe you could edit out that fence at the top - I wouldn't crop it would break the flow of the curving path - just a little creative cloning perhaps?) This would work well as a motivational poster - I find it visually inspiring. Nice range of greens. I have been looking through your portfolio - enjoying it very much. Hope you will be entering some challenges - people should be looking at your work more than they are at the moment. |
