Breakfast Strataby AliciaComment by Tlemetry: I like the before and after of what it should look like. I'm not a fan of eggs, but this could be good! With some ham and fried potatoes. LOL |

Breakfast Strataby AliciaComment by EstimatedEyes: I like the presentation of these shots ... yeah, they have that snapshotty feel, but the before and after pics and the big thick white border with the text at the bottom makes it look like a recipe card, where you'd expect to find the recipe on the back.
Looks delish. I have a recipe for french toast that involves a similar technique that we use when there's a crowd over the house. Only we soak it overnight in the fridge with heavy cream or half n half and maple syrup -- not exactly your low cal special. ;>P |

Making of Timpanoby AliciaComment by Tlemetry: Interesting story the photo tells without the written words. The reflection is as much a part of the story as the person holding the bowl. I'm so glad its not the camera reflected there.
I notice a red fringe running along the shadow, at the top of the hands. Maybe the reds are saturated to much. I'm not exactly sure how to address it. Maybe someone else can offer a suggestion.

Making of Timpanoby AliciaComment by SoulMan1978: Wow this recipe is a new one on me!
A meetup cooking group is a great idea - if I wasn't so far away I'd ask if Sara and I could join ;-) |

are you there?by AliciaComment by colorcarnival: Oooh thanks for providing your steps. This is way cool and mysterious looking. I am just starting with overlays and never thought about it in black and white. It's spooky and I love it. |
