This has an effect that's hard to describe - it looks like a flower and yet doesn't. There is much to explore here and the verse certainly applies.

The B&W combined with the overlays gives the leaves a very crumbled paper kind of look and texture. I'm waiting for the poppies to start showing up here. They're hard to shoot, though, because the reds are so bright. Nice job with the exposure here.
