Secretsby AliciaComment by annig: hehehe looking at their outfits, I am guessing they're waitressing or bartending and are saying "aye! el cabron an la mesa 3'o es un pendejo, pero es muy generoso con sus propinas!" or some such drivel...man I think I need another cup of coffee
sorry Alicia...
:) the overlay gives this a really great feel, I went into Spanish b/c for some reason I get a feel of old time Cuba from this...I must have recently had something go into my subconscious that this image tickled..

Secretsby AliciaComment by Kelli: Very interesting overlay. The toning is wonderful and they really do look like they are bursting to tell someone a wicked secret. Nicely done! |

The Ladyby AliciaComment by annig: ahhh, if only "picking" the diseased part of the brain were as simple as picking a flower ehh? I've often wished I could remove my brain and leave it to soak in a baking soda bath overnight to "cure" my mental ailments
(picture that on your nightstand in lieu of thhe ever popular dentures...ha!!!)
sigh..
this is lovely Alicia
dark, deep and very beautiful

Pale Ladyby AliciaComment by annig: both verses are lyrical and soft, like your lovely image. You definitely have mastered the overlay techniqe, in my opinion...you have given us so many lovely and wispy images this month, the ache of love...the joy of love
Good for you Alicia,
wish I could come & hang out with you & see how you do this...& you must have some library!
XOXOXO

Pale Ladyby AliciaComment by Ken: I'm leaning towards Langston Hughes myself, but like both. Great job on the pp to create the mood. Another one of your candids? |

Pale Ladyby AliciaComment by ScottFrankPhotos: Very poetic! That may be sort of cliche considering the realm in which your theme sits in... Langston Hughes all the way! |

Pale Ladyby AliciaComment by SandyP: I love the photo and the soft and mystical way it is processed. I think I like the Langston Hughes poem for this the best. That one is a happy poem :)
