And like a Dying Lady, Lean and Pale
And like a dying lady, lean and pale,
Who totters forth, wrapp'd in a gauzy veil,
Out of her chamber, led by the insane
And feeble wanderings of her fading brain,
The moon arose up in the murky East,
A white and shapeless mass--
Percy Bysshe Shelley
Or:
Pale Lady
Pale, delightful lady,
How I love you!
I would spread cool violets
At your feet
And bring you lovely jewels
For your hair,
And put a tiny golden ring
Upon your finger
And leave it there
As a sign and symbol of my love,
My bright, bright love for you.
Oh, pale, delightful lady,
How I love you!
Langston Hughes |

both verses are lyrical and soft, like your lovely image. You definitely have mastered the overlay techniqe, in my opinion...you have given us so many lovely and wispy images this month, the ache of love...the joy of love
Good for you Alicia,
wish I could come & hang out with you & see how you do this...& you must have some library!
XOXOXO

I'm leaning towards Langston Hughes myself, but like both. Great job on the pp to create the mood. Another one of your candids? |

Very poetic! That may be sort of cliche considering the realm in which your theme sits in... Langston Hughes all the way! |

I love the photo and the soft and mystical way it is processed. I think I like the Langston Hughes poem for this the best. That one is a happy poem :)
