Butterfly??by laindComment by GrayGhost: Nice colors and shapes. Even more angle would improve the composition, and closer focus and more DOF would help. Elegant and effective. |

Scenic_Munnaarby laindComment by Pedro: oh hell yes. this is fantastic. Not sure if Ed Clarke has been to Paris or not, but if he had - He'd take something great like this (e301 - one of my absolute favourites on DPC).
very well done.

Scenic_Munnaarby laindComment by Konador: I think if you had used the full 640px limit we could see the detail in this better. It also seems to be rotated too much to the left. |

Ceramic Allureby laindComment by C-town driver: You should definitely take advantage of the full 640pixel size that DPC allows for challenge submissions, as this shot is showing up really small on my 19" monitor at 1280x1024 resolution. The lighting also seems a little harsh with reflections and shadowing that detract from the shot. Just my humble opinion. Good luck! |

Ceramic Allureby laindComment by livitup: In the future it would be to your best advantage to use the full 640 pixels on one side that are available to you. Oddly sized and smaller photos typically don't do very well here.
The blue bowl in the foreground is too pastel to compete with the other photos in this challenge that really BURST. Good job getting the background totally black, but this shot just doesn't 'pop' which is vital in a challenge about pop. |

Butterfly??by laindComment by kteach: Hair clip on a lamp shade? Interesting. The lines in the fabric help the composition, but its a tad out of focus. |
