This is a difficult photo for me to comment on. The bird id definitely moving and this is an excellent photograph of that bird. The composition and all the other techincal elements are right on target. If this were a birds challenge, you would be getting a 10. Is this bird gliding? If so, I wouldn't think that it's a great choice for a 'stopped motion' challenge. I'm not sure that moving the camera to follow a moving (but stationary) object is a good example of capturing stopped motion. It would be sorta like photographing a ferarri riding on a flatbed rail car. Do I make any sense here?

The image is cool, but as for summing up curves, it seems like you just picked out a picture youd' taken with a curve in it.

Good idea! I would have used another color shoe for contrasst and cropped the distractions out.
