distress is just that ... often it is not failure .. I can't see failure in this shot .. lovely colours .. well cropped and composed .. nice DOF .. and good contrast within the image.

Wow, I didn't vote on the self portraits because I wasn't a member yet, but I would have given this an 8. and personally, I can't believe so many people gave you rude comments saying it wasn't you, (also, I have a friend who looks just like you, so this pic makes you look about 16 to me, lol) very nicely done, I love the background, and I had to re-look after reading the comment about the crown, because I thought you were holding the crown, I love the background, the lighting and the pose, especially the expression on your face. I think the only thing I would have done differently, would have been to photoshop out the line on the right hand side, and maybe not... nice work, beautiful photo

I really like this.. Love the coloring you have.. The ladies two different colors, and the sky.. Also the grayish blue of the tract.. Suits the theme.. Good job..
