its a lovely shell .. i've just seen jagar's last beach photograph posted just before this one .. i can imagine there could be shells on his beach like this one ..
when i see this shell .. almost 3D that i could pick it up and hold it .. i can also hear the sound of the shell if i put it to my ear .. the sound of the ocean .. great shot . :)

Reall well done macro and a good choice for b&w. Maybe make the background a little bit lighter -- to me there's a lot of gray. Fantastic details.
