This is a focus stack of 6 images. Not sure what kind of seed pod it is, but I've had it a few years.

Not familiar with stacking images.. is this one seed pod? It's very unusual.

Fascinating textures and shapes. Good use of the stacking technique.

Whoa, I love the textures - I'm sure the fuzzy parts aren't as soft as they look to be, but this sure is tantalizing (can you use that word for an image like this?)

what amazing detail you have captured .. the focus stacking method has worked brilliantly .. i sometimes focus stack with photographs of insects ... but they are usually not amendable to staying in one position for very long ..
this seed pod however is very agreeable .. and so incredibly HERE .. it almost seems like its going to fall off the screen onto my table ..
brilliant ..:)

Very interesting subject.

I am curious as to your technique for focus stacking as I would like to try that with my garlic.

Do you use a tripod - and what is the method of changing the focus for each of the 6 images?
