Very nice! Love the overall soft glow and the tones. You can actually create 2 different moods with this. One as it is which works well and an alternative one that's more focused on the girl by cropping out the sun. :)

Hi Chris, this idea has great potential and love the candid-ness of it! The skin tones are beautiful. My suggestion if ever it was possible of course:
- enlarge it so she does take a slightly bigger center spot
- that will crop out the foreground and the sides a little
- and maybe adjust the levels just to reduce the brightness a wee bit

Still like it as you've captured the beauty of her happiness.

thanks, jimmy -- you hit it on the head! i seriously upped the blue of her eyes, and being red-green colourblind, blue to me is the only colour that really looks pure, so it really stands out to me...

For whatever reason, I've come back to this shot several times... Something about it is very alluring. I'm usually not fond of image grain, but there's something about this shot that really works. (I wish I could put my finger on it, but it's escaping me!)

EDIT: I think it's the candidness of the moment that is so appealing. It really comes through loud and clear (despite the noise). :-)
