Many congratulations on the top 20 finish and also on a lovely shot. Given that you finished where you did and I finished where I did it seems a bit odd to be making comments on how this (excellent) image might have been improved but I wonder it you had cropped the boat out whether it would have been even more impactful

The focus is interesting. Must be a wide-angle lens? (I have not really used them but I am assuming because of the slant of the booth on the left.)

This reminds me of the county fair which will be happening here next month. The carnies don't look very busy lol.

Yes. That guy will be red tonight. Great fun for the adults, the kids look like mine would when I was helping too much (or doing it for them instead). Fun picture... Now, I'm wanting to plan a beach trip to Padre Island.

excellent shot of life on the beach .. so busy and industrious ... fantastic colours .... we're in the middle of winter here in australia and i'm having trouble typing because i was outside for a while and my fingers have gone numb!!... would like a bit'v heat right about NOW !!! :)

what fun! you are so brave to take your camera to a sand castle party! i like the little girl in pink... is she tired? bored? finished with her castle? watching someone in the water?
