Priceless, Ken! Love how you've focused on them sitting in the fireplace by adding the vignette - is that a vignette? - except for the modern clothes, it could be like something from a fantasy story.

Auuuuugh. . .are you kidding me??? I think we should all have at least one of these lighthouses a day so we would never ever cease to be awed and inspired! I just can't get over how beautiful this scene is!! I would never get tired of seeing stunning pictures of lighthouses -- I just wish I could go down to our coast and get one for myself. . .but the Texas coast. . .bleh. . .wouldn't look this beautiful anyway! The water would be choppy green with a touch of mud, and there'd most likely be junk and "stuff" cluttering up the lighthouse area. . . so keep posting yours, okay?

Tee hee. . .yes. . .that's the look I get whenever I try to get my family to pose for me! Always have. Always will. Cartesia is so adorable the way she looks like she's just wishing her big sister would play with her again.

What precious kids you have!

And they make quite the amazing photo too. Standing alone, this photo makes you study it and enjoy how interesting it is with the grungy rust and the appealing way the sharp nails come out of the shallow depth of blurry ones. But the story behind these nails makes it something more. A memory. Something that would take you back to the past any time you looked at it.

Yes... matted and framed this one would look quite nice!

I'm weird. I love nails. Something about them all piled together, and the possibilities of what they can connect, to create a structure. We have bins in the garage with various sizes. I like this.

Oh, siblings!!! I deal with the same issues with my two boys, but with one being 7.5 years older, he tends to "win out" every time. LOL I like the DOF!!! Tell those girls when they are old and gray that all they'll have in the world is each other, so they'd better learn to like it. ;~D
