I love the idea!!! Seeing the sky, bright vibrant colors in contrast to the fallen leaves is great. I wish the mirrored leaves were just a bit more in focus- needs a bigger depth of field. Great concept.

Hi Kat,

My comment on this shot is two fold. First you have good action, but there are a couple of problems with it. When shooting backlight you need to either meter for the faces and not worry about the backgrounds, or find a way to fill(flash). You might also be able to pull some detail out of the shadows. Also watch your horizons, there is a sense of downhill to the right. I think I'd also crop a touch tighter to lose some of the space to the sides. Good start!

I like the fact the players are sharp but the ball has some motion blur to it. I also like all the colours, they have come out well, it's a shame you weren't on the other side of the player so you could capture some of their faces. I'd have been tempted to zoom in for an even tighter crop.

Your exif says f/1.7 this time, weird! :)
