this is very similar to another shot i've seen in a challenge, altho i see so many i'm not sure of the details .. the other one i think was a tighter crop .. but they probably the same sort of bird ..
love the bright red contrasting with the cold snow and the branches .. like a touch of warmth .

Is it a tight crop? it looks a bit grainy. Really nice how it stands out, here I have a cardinal as a neighbor but he is not a very willing model LOL besides the background here never helps.

I love how bright the cardinal is...we don't get many of them down here in Florida. He stands out so beautifully against the gray winter background.

I like this shot. I wish I could see the corners of the base a lot more easily. Is there any way to layer this one using screen to pull up the detail underneath? It just feels like that beautiful red dome up, there is hanging in midair.
