New "Old" housesby GunnsiComment by JunieMoon: Nice colors on this one. foreground seems a bit dark, but certainly shows the architectural style of "row" houses. |

The Darkroom Chroniclesby GunnsiComment by Rebecca: Hi Gunnar -
You are absolutely right, the lack of focus killed you here. It's definitely creative, but I think a bit too weird for this site. It reminds me somewhat of the fuzzy photos of Nessie, Bigfoot, and various UFOs. |

Tired after the hiking tourby GunnsiComment by Rebecca: Hi Gunnar -
I think this mainly suffered from the coat and ski cap, which are cold weather items. The heat is in her cheeks as you say, but that is secondary behind the coat and hat. The focus is a bit too soft, and nothing else in the photo suggests heat. I think it's a little too much like a snapshot for DPC. |

Tired after the hiking tourby GunnsiComment by alanfreed: It doesn't really convey "heat" to me for starters. Unfortunately, she also looks very disinterested, and isn't in the best of focus. It just seems a little uninspired to me. |

il musicistaby GunnsiComment by Rooster: Hey There Fro the CPII!
So, I like this shot. It seems like there was some heavy sun out there but you did a good job not overexposing any part of your subject. I would have used a smaller aperture tho (maybe 6.3 or much higher) for deeper DOF. The face of the girls is a bit soft on focus. For some reason, I don;t like that she is posing for someone else. It definitely seems as tho she is.
Anyway, good stuff!
Hope this critique helps.
peace
