Challenge: Self Portrait IV (Advanced Editing IV*)
Camera: Canon PowerShot S2 IS
Location: Reykjavik
Date: May 17, 2006
Aperture: 5,6
ISO: 100
Shutter: 15s
Galleries: Portraiture
Date Uploaded: May 17, 2006

Picture taken with black trousers and black sweater on a blac chair, turning lights on and off.
Shutter speed 15 seconds (max on this camera)
Whole lot of selective colour regulation, crop and NeatImage
This was the best focus I could get. I am not at all happy about that, this will cost, I know.
The hardest thing was to hold still for about 2. seconds while the light was on my head. Much easier to have the foot still leaning on the chair.
The focus seems a bit better in the red space so I am using that instead.
Before I called the photo "The Organ Donor"
Thanks to my oldest daughter for turning the lights on and off.

I predict 5.5, maybe 5.7 if I am lucky and the voters are jolly.

Hi Gunnar -

You are absolutely right, the lack of focus killed you here. It's definitely creative, but I think a bit too weird for this site. It reminds me somewhat of the fuzzy photos of Nessie, Bigfoot, and various UFOs.

This jolly voter didn't recognize you! I gave this a 7 - wonderfully silly, unique, and kooky! What a vision. Enjoyed the coloration too. Cephalopoda!

The red lighting is a bit much, and I find the head-foot combination more disturbing than interesting. Nice try, but it misses me.

i really like this idea, but there is too much red, I think if you wanted to go with the red tint to the image leave off the red border or vice versa
