Very cool idea. Not sure it is all it could be though. I think a lot of detail/focus is lost (not sure if it's due to the original or the crop) and I think maybe the upper portion of the image is a bit too washed out. Yes, I know this is supposed to be high contrast (and it is very contrasting), but something just isn't quite clicking for me personally. Wish I could be more specific - maybe it's just my taste. Still, not a bad shot.

nice contrast, but a main focal point is missing for me. i mean, i get the long shadow reference and all, but there's enough other stuff going on to take away from the nice lines it produces. all in all a nice entry.

The angle of the tombstones are off. The horizon is level but the stone are the ones that should be. Perhaps a 1degree rotation CCW would have corrected this and made for a more appealing photo. I do like the elongated shadow tho. Good luck in this challenge. <4>

I may seem unreasonably unfair but I don't like the pics in this challenge (and you're not alone) where shoes are getting up and going about their business without any owners. I'd have given a higher mark for the nice use of DOF and the very effective cropping which makes a nice slight curved line with the road., if only there was feet in those shoes. sorry 4
