stripesby ArpeggioAngelComment by rox_rox: Excellent shot! Great composition, tonality, focus and lines. Something like this would be perfect for the Rythm challenge. The hotspot on the nose is slightly distracting; but a lovely image, nonetheless. |

sierra bw copyby ArpeggioAngelComment by Tuckersmom: Sierra is a stunning dog, I love dogs. Perfect choice for black and white, the detail is great. I like the border, gives it a professional look. The only change which of course was probably impossible would be the light area in the upper right, it does draw my eye away a little. |

Another favorite of mine, re your portfolio.....
This is actually one of those images that just "POP" even before you open it. Message edited by author 2006-04-24 20:12:27. |

carousel horseby ArpeggioAngelComment by SJCarter: I like the colors and glow - and the blurred background - but there seem to be editing artifacts around the edge of the horse (especially muzzle) that are distracting. I've found that using the auto or lasso tools frequently don't do an accurate enough job selecting an object, so that I end up going back and painstakingly tracing it by hand. It takes a LOT longer, but the results are usually a lot cleaner. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know... ;-) I really like the composition and saturation. |
