Comment by KarenNfld:
Image looks too contrasty, harsh sunlight hasn't helped.

Nice point of view but the image is distractingly over sharpened!

I love the framing of this photograph. On my monitor the bricks in the tower looks odd. Oversharpened?

Lovely composition but I think you over did the sharpness a little

Comment by SJCarter:
Nice color & focus/detail. You might consider trying to brighten the foreground areas a bit with the dodge/burn brush (I use +3 brightness, +5 contrast to add "light" or highlights to darker areas). Then I'd probably switch to -1 brightness and +3 contrast on the sky to make it moodier. Of course, I tend to overdo this sort of thing... ha! Great capture!

This is sweet! Love the tones. I would probably clone out the twig stuff on the right - it doesn't seem to add anything and draws my attention away from the fly. Really nice capture.

Comment by zeuszen:
This is a great subject, but a little challenging to photograph nicely without merging two separate exposures in pp, because of the considerable variance of light and shadows. Ideally, I'd expose for a) a mid-shadow and b) the sky, being careful to avoid blow-outs. I think it would be desirable to achieve good depth in this shot, as both mid- and background form a single (flat) horizon (the result of perspective here).

Also, a slight rotation to the right should straighten the horizon.

Comment by Ben:
Brilliant shot.
The bridge and it's reflection are positioned very well.
The sky looks brilliant, and the blues running right from the dark bottom of the picture to the light sky are superb.
The horizon is slightly blurry but it doesn't detract from the impact of this photo.

Spectacular! I love the Graned Canyon in those blues! It gives such a beautiful, unique look! So amazing!
