Great job (especially for only your second attempt at selective desat)! I really like the expression and profile lines/curves. The title also lends an air of mystery to the shot.

A nice model and a nice shot.

For improvements I would do a selective sharpen on the eyes, (yes more sharpening), and try a less contrasty b&w conversion. The eyes are the magic ticket for kid photography and should be nice and sharp. Less contrast would give it a softer look which in my opinion is another good rule to stick to for kid/baby photography.

Nice shot. Lovely boy. Those eyes are great. I bet they would have looked awesome looking into the camera. Like teh toning. Maybe slightly too many highlights and I don;t think that cap adds much - I find it just an irritating distraction from the lovely portrait of the boy. Great job overall.

Good photo overall - lighting and focus seem fine - nothing eye-popping though. The crop feels way too tight, IMO. Definitely looks like you could get some really great shots with the boy. Get him to giggle! :)

Gorgeous composition. I really like the shadows and lighting. It does have a very erotic feel to it. Maybe could be sharper, but I am going to guess that the soft focus is intentional, and I think it works for the image, I like it. Overall, it could maybe stand to be a touch brighter, but maybe that's just me. Nice shot.
