OOby yankoComment by bob350: Keep this one around to put up for Halloween! I am finding it very tricky use defocusing to get a blurred picture and still have a worthwhile subject instead of just an out-of-focus snapshot. This is technically good, artistically wonderful, and a valuable contribution to the "sharpless" topic. |

gorkby yankoComment by Bruce_the_Robert: He's watching me wherever I go; those eyes, they just keep watching. Stop it, leave me alone!!! Seriously, though, well conceived and executed, I like the final image. |

gorkby yankoComment by MelonMusketeer: Excellent and abstract. I would try shooting a few at small aperture and stronger flash to see if I could get the eyes to "star". The OOF blur would be difficult though at smaller aperture. Maybe if you use a star filter, or piece of brass screen over the lens it would would get the effect. |

Since the eyes were out of focus it captured the bokeh circles it generated. |
that is utterly amazing!! just by not focusing you get that effect? wow, I have to go think about that one for a bit...thanks for the feedback. |

Deer Runby yankoComment by MelonMusketeer: I think that the puddle of light below the deer really helps to make this image a good one. Beautiful capture, and it woud not be nearly so good if it were tack sharp. It captures the spirit of the animal well. |

Une Lueur Dans l'Obscurité (A Gleam In the Darkness)by yankoComment by SandyP: Oh my!!! This is so amazingly artful. Dramatic. A million other superlatives are just under the surface too! What wonderful detail in the darks and lights. I love the close composition and the detail in the feathers! What a great entry you have here! Congratulations! |
