I agree with you about the snow, it adds a nice highlight. I really like the composition of this shot with the foreground tree off centre and the fallen tree breaking up the lines, very nice.

was reading your comment and looking for the bird!! .. and then read a bit further and realised you were referring to the mechanical one .. dohhhhhhhh .. and yes its certainly a big one .. and hey .. beautiful cloud formation as well ... just imagining wot i could do with those in photoshop!! ... i cant look at a photograph without thinking of improvements these days ..
