There's so much to like about this photo - the lines and curves, shadows and light, color, the way the eye is led into the darkness, the play of the light and shadow vs the light and dark of the stone. Very well done.

wot a sad and wonderful story .. so many mixed emotions .. i'm sitting here having read about you, your brother and this place and it nearly brought tears to my eyes .. i'm feeling a bit down so that might be why ..
i'm really liking the lighting, the tones and those beautiful shadows which in my mind sort'v meld well with the tone of your story .. :)
