 It was our first major snowstorm of the year. Everything was still. The snow drifting down covered the usual sounds of the day. Even the trafic seemed unusually still. As I walked home, the shades of white grey and black took over the scene. It was one of those times when time is suspended, if only for a moment.

This really is a nice peaceful capture. I love the way that the tree in the foreground makes me feel as if I am standing underneath it. Wonderful composition!

Got the same storm today - left over a foot of snow and more is expected tomorrow. Your shot is so peaceful and with the pristine snow, you can almost feel how quiet it is.

Yes-know what you mean exactly...hit with the same storm here - today...not too much snow yet , but that hushed feeling is there ! You have captured it well.

Beautiful composition, I love undisturbed snow with no proof of human intervention. Itès snowing here today, hopefully I will be able to get some shots like this soon.

how beautiful this scene looks ... i never see snow, we just dont get it where i live ... sometimes they get it in the blue mountains which is west of sydney but that's about a 2 hour drive for us .. the times i've been where its snowed i've noticed that very eerie quality it gives to everything ... it is like time is suspended sometimes .. :)

Nice composition of a beautiful scene. I like how you framed it with the tree and how the walk curves through it, taking the eye along. The border adds a nice touch.
