hey adam .. i can see why this would be your favourite photograph ... not only how excellent it is .. so beautiful .. but the experience of being in such a place would only add to the appeal .. sublime for sure .. love your processing style .. intense, dramatic and powerful .. totally right for this majestic scene .. :).... sounds so remote the places you go .. along with camera, memory cards & battery, a compass would be part of your necessary equipment .. !!!.. oh .. and food .. !!!:)

Ok i do not want to read all your comments, but i am curious and i just noticed my self, did anyone comment on the slight tilt to the horizon? In any case, I love this shot, and i am really shocked it didn't do better.
