City Traffic by ndsComment by alanfreed: Wow -- that's a cool shot! If that plane is really flying above the building, this is exceptionally well done! |

City Traffic by ndsComment by Delta_6: C-47 Dakota, classic airborne transport plane. The preferred choice of allied paratroops in world war 2. Based on Douglas DC-3. Navy and Marine designation R4-D. Excellent photo of old aircraft technology. 10. Davyaldy |

City Traffic by ndsComment by Morgan: How really is this image? Is it staged? Fixed in place? Or, was it really flying? My pick of the week. 9, Morgan. |

Good Morning Honey!by ndsComment by nds: Thanks a lot for your comments on this shot. I think, that I don't have to tell you more about the setup, there is nothing special about it. But I'll try to answer on some of your comments: - Why not horizontal? I tried that too, but it didn't look very impressive to me... - Why I didn't centered the toothbrushes with the lips? You my be sure, that I tried that. But it is not very easy in the macro modus. The model has to stay absolutely motionless and a divergency of 2mm (it's not much more in this shot) is nerly unobservable due to the shooting 'stress'. I made about 20 shots with different expressions of the lips and finally I liked this one most. But unfortunately there are these 2mm distance from ' perfection' ;-) - Why 2 toothbrushes and why is the toothpaste running together? Well, I can't remember where I saw that before. Maybe it was a german advertising spot. She is waiting for him in the bathroom and has prepared already everything for the united teeth brushing. I thought, that I can transform this story with the kiss in the background into a macro shot. Doesn't everyone want to start into a day with a view like that :-)? |
