Good capture and composition. Good work on getting the even lighting on the faces. I don't like the unnaturally soft faces.

Good capture, you've got him singled out, I just wish you'd managed a shallower DOF as it would be up there withe the ribbon contenders

great shot...deserves top 6 finish...the people around the guy, their expressions, make his deadpan face really look singled out

Neat idea, but I think the colors came off a little flat here. Perhaps boosting the saturation and brightness a bit would help. I also would have loved to see a yummy cupcake under there for the sprinkles to fall on instead of a flowered background.

I like your creative composition and lighting here. The blurred elements also add a kinetic feel to the shot. One thing that I find distracting is the patterned background. Perhaps a white or black setting to really emphasize the color contrasts would have added to the shot? Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless.... 7

Great use of negative space. I find the overexposed leaf on the bottom, as well as the leaf poking in at the top distracting. I probably would prefer a black border too.

I felt a good picture was spoilt a little by the background

Why did you use a red border... as it distracts from the image, which I like very much.....

Nice colors and bee capture. Cropping out more of the left side negitive space would be better.
