I think this would have been better suited to a landscape crop to exclude the stem.
I like that you captured our lil' friends head in focus, but I would have enjoyed seeing his whole body in focus. |

I think the key to not having the line at 3:00 is making sure you line up the start and end point to be exactly the same.
But, that's just a guess, since I have yet to process mine. *sigh*
