bud.jpgby horsemadgirlComment by SJCarter: If this was your first macro - then hats off to ya! Darn good! (I'm embarrassed by my first attempt!) The focus & DOF are very good. The one thing that I noticed and bothers me is that there looks like there's a spider web protruding from the bottom-most leaf. I would clone or blend that out. Nice job. |

Diamonds are for everby horsemadgirlComment by SJCarter: Nice shot - the title works well too. Lighting is okay, but I think the diamonds don't sparkle quite as much as they might in real life. Not sure whether it's the angle or that it needed a few more light sources. Still, a pleasing composition. |

pathby horsemadgirlComment by SJCarter: I like this a lot - with one exception: the sky. I think that if you were to post-process a beautiful blue, cloudy sky into this shot, it would be great. Not sure how much detail you can exude out of the existing one. |

giraffesby horsemadgirlComment by SJCarter: Really neat capture. I love the cross pose. Looks like you cut them out (for layers probably) a bit too closely IMHO. The edges don't look natural for some reason. However, it could just be me! All in all, I think it's a pretty cool shot. |
