Well, here goes: Really liked it, even though dolls have always creeped me out. The composition is balanced and enhanced by the doorknob in BG. It's a great visual pun and a very interesting and compelling image.
I find the comment "too obvious" a bit ironic, considering the fate of obscure images on this site. Obvious is fine with me...I usually need to be hit over the head to get it. Good job Chris. |

Southwest Potteryby CEJComment by rox_rox: Nice work. Great focus. The flowers really stand out against the BG (great contrast). The composition is very nice; although I'm compelled (as a former floral designer and artist) to suggest that an odd number of flowers would be better. Since the colors of vase and flowers are in different families, I converted this to B/W and cloned out the rose. I think it looks stunning that way, too.
Cool vase. Look forward to seeing you use it again. |
