I think this would have been awesome if the top right corner would smooth out or fade into nothing - that white vertical object distracts me, but it's a good image for liguid.

People like to "read" a photo from left to right. This feels backwards, even though i isn't. Try flipping it to see if it looks better.

Heh, after so many duotone images rated last week with non-coloured landscape scenes, it was actually a little strange to see a colour one. (Not bad, just a quick double-take.) Very nice, the capturing of the wake or wave against the pylon, which is definitely something that evokes sound for me -- I grew up near a large body of water. The background being such a bright green on the left is a little distracting but I'm not sure what all you could have done about that and still caught the water motion well.

I knew I recognized that JP bulb! I had my gall bladder out in January, had complications, and had one of those things hanging out of me for almost a month. Was that not the weirdest sensation when they pull that thing out??? Sorry I couldn't bring myself to score higher - the image just had too fresh and real-world a connotation for me to get past. :-)
