I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. The wedding ring does tell us that a decision has been made, but It's not easy to say that that is true. Rather a better photo in 'my opinion' would have been the bride and groom slipping the rings on their hands... a close up of the hands slipping the rings on, because it denotes the 'action' of deciding to commit forever. Because making a decision is an action, I think the photos should denote action.

i think it can work fine that the person is just a silhouet. I think the photo is exposed fine. I like how the person is on the right of the image.... not centered. Nice blue color on the water.. The horizon is a bit tilted. Perhaps it would be more interesting for me if the person was doing something.. reaching, stretching, walking, looking.. perhaps if the person had moved out a little farther as well so that they didn't mesh with the boat in the background.

Thanks for the comments! I actually meant for the person to be in silhouette. I the "unaltered" photo, he's still a silhouette. :)
