While Golfingby LadeeMComment by bfox2: I like what you did. Its a very subtle change, but I think it works well. Only thing you might try next is to clone out whatever it is thats right near the bottom and a little off center to the left. (looks like iether a fountain or a hole in the trees) but it's the only real distraction in the photo.
One other thing, you might try leaving in a little bit more of the bottom to get some more of the grass into the picture, but that doesn't fell like its so much of a big deal to me. Message edited by author 2005-08-07 17:17:49. |

Sistersby LadeeMComment by tfaust: Positioning is better on this one... you have them both in the frame nicely and the edge of the pool is not in the composition. Again, shallower dof to help with the background a bit, but not a crucial in this shot I don't think. You have one girl looking to the left (her right) and the other right at the camera. This is probably the best of the 4 in my opinion. |

My Girlsby LadeeMComment by tfaust: Backlighting is nice, but some fill flash would have helped so the faces aren't shadowed as much. I would have had her put the towel down. Some movement in a different direction could have taken the majority of the concrete out of the background on the left side and a shallower dof would have helped to blur it a little more. Opening the eyes a bit more is helpful in this style of portrait shot. |
