PICT2121-1.jpgby Buckeye_FanComment by LadeeM: I agree with the contrast, and the border IMO tends to blend a little too much in with the colors of the photo. Nice composition, however. It's a very peaceful scene, and I like it. |

PICT2121-1.jpgby Buckeye_FanComment by SJCarter: I think this is an improvement over the original (and I don't even mind the border). I think you could still straighten the horizon a hair (even if that's not reality, I think it unconsciously makes the shot appear tilted). I would also continue to bump up the contrast and maybe take the color sat down a hair. Nice composition though and I like the tones. |

After the Stormby Buckeye_FanComment by SDW: I have to agree with rex the sky looks out of place. Did you use PS and the highlight/shadow function. I know when I use it sometimes I get this type of look.
It's a very nice photograph and one worthy of keeping. I would try a re-edit. I love the green field/grass with the bright red barn house against the golden clouds on the blue sky.
Could you post the original unedited version? I would love to see what it looks like.

Hibiscus in the Rainby Buckeye_FanComment by Rikki: I would have preferred a tighter shot and a landscape image rather than portrait for this image. I love the contrast between the greens and the stark white image of the flower.6 |

Man Made Rainbowby Buckeye_FanComment by Strikeslip: What a marvelous shot! Hurray for Roy G. Biv! The colours are nice, but it's the composition that makes it for me. The rainbow is very nicely naturally framed by the greens of the sod and the hedges+spout. I think it's perfect that you included some sky, which give it more scale & context. Great catch! |
